Amylobond® is a modified starch with a reactive terminal group, chemically modified through specific reactions. The structural modification of the starch is aimed at imparting properties that enhance ply bond strength and IGT printability of the paperboard during application. Amylobond® is readily dispersible in cold water and can be uniformly sprayed inside wet paperboard.
