Description

Sodium Starch Glycolate (SSG) , derived from potatoes, also known as Carboxymethyl Ether Sodium Salt, functions as a starch for pharmaceutical -grade dissolution excipient for tablets and capsules. This compound rapidly absorbs water, inducing swelling that facilitates the rapid disintegration of tablets and granules. SSG is utilised as a disintegrant, suspending agent, and gelling agent. Bluecraft Agro holds an active Drug Master File (DMF) Type IV for SSG according to the British Pharmacopoeia (BP), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and TYPE A standards.
